Alderson - Jeffery Calvin Alvis, 41 of Alderson passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home following a long illness.
He was born at Ripley, WV July 1, 1974 a son of Barbara Vandale Alvis of Ripley, WV and the late Ralph Hayden Alvis.
He was a disabled wrecker operator and he attended the Enon Baptist Church at Lewisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Pritt Alvis of Alderson; 4 sons, Brandon Alvis of Alderson, Matthew Alvis of Spencer, Andrew and Johnathan Brown of Alderson; half-brother, Dusty Vandale of Knoxville, Tenn.
At Jeffery's request he will be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
