HOLLYWOOD, WV – Jeannie Faye Hoke, 62, of Hollywood, WV, formerly of Gap Mills, WV, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV, following an extended illness.

Jeannie was born March 15, 1962, in Union, WV, a daughter of the late Franklin and Ruth Smith Terry. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bruffey Methodist Church. Jeannie loved her grandchildren, her flowers, her dog Snookie, tea pots, and red vintage farm trucks.

In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Hoke; and two brothers, David Terry and Franklin Terry Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, James Hoke; son, Jeffrey Hoke and wife Amanda of Lewisburg, WV; daughter, Jessica Hoke Deel and husband Shawn of Gap Mills, WV; six grandchildren, Cooper and Renna Hoke of Lewisburg, WV, and Skyler, Paityn, Mason, and Shawna Deel of Gap Mills, WV; one sister, Carolyn Vanhoye (Will); brothers, Dale, Roger, and Bobby Terry; and many friends and extended family members as well.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor David Deskins officiating. Burial will follow at the Vance Cemetery in Hollywood, WV, with Jeffrey Hoke, Cooper Hoke, Shawn Deel, Mason Deel, Donnie Hoke, and Clayton Hoke serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
