FT. SPRINGS, WV --- James Andrew "Andy" Holcomb, Jr., age 35, of FT. Springs, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born, November 12, 1986 at Ronceverte, WV and was the son of Kathy Burns Thomas (Bobby) and the late James Holcomb, Sr.

Andy had been employed at Cutting Edge Lawn Care for fourteen years, and most recently, had taken a position with the City of Ronceverte. Andy loved to fish and hunt and do things with his family and kids. He loved his kids, nieces, and nephews so much and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his step-dad, Harry "Stork" Thomas. Survivors include his wife Michelle Holcomb; sons, Connor, Peyten, and Ryland; daughter, Isabella (Dylan) and he was a proud papaw to Paisley Layman, Preston Layman, and his grand-dog, Scruffy; also surviving is his sister, Jennifer Whitaker (Jarrod); brother-in-laws, Charles Brooks and Shaun Brooks; sister-in-laws, Jennifer Brooks and Melissa Quick; niece, Caylann Cox, Kelli Lephew, and Chelsea Blevins (Justin); nephews, Caleb Lephew, Dylan Whitaker, Clayton Quick (Megan), Coleton Quick, and five great-nieces, a great nephew, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Joey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery at FT Springs, WV.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 8, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Connor Brooks, Clayton Quick, Dylan Layman, Jason Wilcox, Charlie Brown, Shaun Brooks, Devon Feury, and Charles Brooks will serve as Pallbearers.
