WILLOW BEND - Homer F. Harvey, 76 of Willow Bend, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea following a long illness.

He was born at Willow Bend, WV, March 15, 1938 a son of the late Wilber F. and Martha McDaniel Harvey.

Mr. Harvey was a self employed painter and he was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Harvey.

Surviving is his wife, Rowena Kast Harvey of Willow Bend; a son, Greg Harvey of Willow Bend; a daughter, Debbie Bradley and her husband, Junior of Organ Cave; 4 grandchildren, Josh Bland, Andrew Bland, Martha Bland and Amanda Bradley.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Gene Fullen officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ellison Cemetery at Rock Camp.

Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 – 8 pm. Friday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh and Andrew Bland, Frankie Campbell, John Thomas, Derrick Honaker, Mikey Amos and Brian Carter.
