UNION, WV---Hazel Deloris Shaffer, age 81, of Union, WV passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Springfield Center at Lindside, WV. Born December 5, 1932 at Shinnston, WV she was the daughter of the late Squire and Ida Mae Echard Tichnell. Ms. Shaffer was a loving and caring homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Taber and Lori A. Jenkins; one son, Mike Shaffer; and other family members. In keeping with Ms. Shaffer's wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
