SINKS GROVE, WV --- Hattie Mae McClary, age 93, of Sinks Grove, WV passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Springfield Center in Lindside, WV. Born May 15, 1925 at Beaver, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sirus W. and Iva Kate Waddell Miller. Hattie retired from the U.S. Postal service with 30 years of dedicated service. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She also enjoyed singing at church and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert P. "Bob" McClary and a brother, Jim Miller. Survivors include her husband Charles Weikle of Sinks Grove, WV; one daughter Lisa McClary of Sinks Grove, WV, two brothers, Bill Miller and wife Annie of Oxford, NC, and Ward Miller and wife Carol of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Colleen Miller Erskine of Ronceverte, WV, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastors Jim Rogers and Bob Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebonan Cemetery at Pickaway, WV. Friends may call Friday, August 10, 2018 From 12:00 noon until time of services.
