GAP MILLS, WV --- Glenda Sue Cobb, age 66, of Gap Mills, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Born December 1, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, she was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. James Seay. Mrs. Cobb was a member and Lay Speaker of the Gap Mills United Methodist Church, a Member of the United Methodist Women's Group, The Lions Club, and the Ruritan Club. She loved to cook, to entertain, and above all else, loved her family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Fowler and Roland Sizemore; and one sister, Mary Seary. Survivors include her husband and love of her life for 46 years, Elbon "Larry" Cobb of Gap Mills, WV; two daughters, Gretchen C. Bennett and husband Devin of Union, WV and Honei Long and husband Edward of Peterstown, WV; mother, Nina Eloise Seay of Covington, VA; WV; ten brothers, Wayne Petty, Kenneth Petty, David Seay, Daniel Seay, Gerald Sizemore, Donald Sizemore, James Jenkins, John Jenkins, Tony Jenkins, and Bobby Jenkins; six sisters, Rosalee Blankenship, Linda Stevens, Pamela Burks, Susan Fridley, Gail Wolfe, and Helen Wong. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren, Angel Long, Gracelin Long, Tymberly Bennett, and Arabella Bennett, all which she loved and cherished dearly.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV. Friends may call Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
