SINKS GROVE, WV --- Glen Dows Kirk, age 84, of Sinks Grove, WV, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. Born April 9, 1935 in Louisa, KY, he was the son of the late Fedrick and Goldie Chapman Kirk. Glen was retired from Ford Motor Company. After his retirement he was the owner and operator of Kirk's Water Hauling, were he was well known around the area.  He enjoyed watching basketball, especially the Greenbrier East Spartans. He also enjoyed his zero-turn lawn mower. Glen was a faithful member of the Union Lighthouse Church of God in Union, WV where he served as secretary and treasurer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jo Kirk and one brother, Donald Lee Kirk. Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Tangredi and husband Daniel of Milan, MI; three sons, Rick Kirk and wife Patti of Huron, OH, Wayne Kirk and wife Sharon of Gaithersburg, MD, and Joe Kirk and wife Jennifer of Castalia, OH; two sisters, JoAnne Scott and husband Max of Monroe, MI, and Josephine Martin and husband Bobby of Fremont, OH; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Union Lighthouse Church of God in Union, WV, with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV.
