Gap Mills - Gertrude Elizabeth "Gertie" McCullough, 81 of Gap Mills, WV passed away Wednesday morning, July 29, 2015 at her residence following a long illness.
Born September 14, 1933 at Gap Mills, WV she was the daughter of the late Lacy and Elsie Crowder McCullough.
Gertie was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sara King and Ocie McCullough; and a brother, John Robert McCullough.
Surviving are a son, Randall "Randy" McCullough of Gap Mills; five brothers, Leon, James "Horse", Herman, Pete, and George McCullough and a sister, Janet Truelove all of Gap Mills. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Chapel in Union, WV, with Rev. Robert Wiseman and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickline Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV.
