SINKS GROVE, WV – Freda Jo Wilson, age 76, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV. Born January 18, 1950, in Sinks Grove, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joe Buster Wilson and Janet H. Burns Wilson.

Freda was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict. She later worked in the billing department at the hospital for nearly 20 years and most recently started her own house cleaning business. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and going on walks in the woods around the house with her dogs. She was tough when she needed to be, but she had a kind and compassionate heart. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. Her presence will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Shires. Survivors include her loving companion of 16 years, Christopher Mohl of the home; one brother, Wayne Wilson of Huntersville, NC; one sister, Thelma Bostic and husband O'Dell of Union, WV; and several friends whom she loved dearly.

In keeping with Freda's wishes, she will be cremated. A visitation will be held to honor and celebrate her life from 7:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV.
