UNION, WV --- Franklin "Frank" Wilson Pence, age 61, of Union, WV passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his residence. Born December 17, 1956 at Union, WV, he was the son of the late Laird and Geraldine "Weikle" Pence. Frank loved spending time with his family. He was a retired mechanic from Monroe Motors in Union, WV. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Frank was also a member of the Mt. Alexander Church at Sarton, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Young, and sister-in-law, Tyelisa Young. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Tammy Pence of Union, WV; two sons, Darrin Pence and wife Martha of Union, WV and Jamey Pence of Union, WV; three sisters, Ethel M. Johnston of Union, WV, Donna McHone and husband William of Union, WV, Lisa Furrow and husband James of Union, WV; mother-in-law, Sarah "Margie" Young of Lindside, WV; two brother-in-laws, Anthony Young of Peterstown, WV and Randall Young and wife Bonnie of Lindside, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Terry Utterback officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Alexander Church Cemetery at Sarton, WV. Friends may call Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
