WALDORF, MD --- Frank "Eugene" Taylor, age 89, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his residence. Born July 28, 1933 in Salt Sulphur Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Frank Lewis and Nora Ellen Weikle Taylor. Following graduation from Union High School  (class of "52") Eugene went on to serve his country in the U.S. Airforce for 40 years until his retirement. He took great pride in supporting the Air Force's worldwide missions. He was a proud member of the 459th M.A.W. Eugene loved his family and friends dearly. He looked forward to family gatherings, watching NASCAR and Sunday football games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Taylor; sister-in-law, Pauline "Polly" Taylor; brother-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Durham. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Bonnie Taylor of Waldorf, MD; three sons, Frank Taylor and wife Janet of Lexington Park, MD, Alan Taylor and wife Sharon of La Mesa, CA, and Robert "Bob" Taylor and wife Sharon of Arlington, MA; daughter, Sharon Fox and husband Robert of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Sue Durham of Yorktown, VA; grandsons, David Taylor, Isaac Taylor, Jake Taylor, Max Taylor, Bode Taylor, and Cole Taylor, Patrick Rankin; granddaughters, Taylor Fox, Amber Caradonna, Cayenne Rankin, Juanita Rankin; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Savanna; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Union, WV. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
