BEL AIR, MD --- Francis Marion Lephew Sr., age 85, of Bel Air, MD, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his residence. Born March 9, 1933 he was the son of the late Samaul Harrison and Lorena Lephew. Francis was retired from Hopkins and Watsons Corner in Maryland. He enjoyed his family, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Ann Hoover Lephew; one son, Clayton Lephew; two daughters, Rena Mae Lephew and Sharon Marie Alderson; three grandsons, Benjamin Clayton Lephew, Frank Lee Alderson, Jr., and Rodney Lephew; one granddaughter, Roxanne Lephew. Survivors include, sons, Francis Lephew, Jr., Benjamin Harrison Lephew, Bruce Lee Lephew, Joseph Raymond Lephew, Gene Edward Lephew; daughter, Ta'Lina Joyce Lephew; fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV with Pastor Don Trent officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV. Friends may call Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at the funeral home.
