EVA E. BRADLEY
UNION, WV--- Eva E. Bradley, age 89, of Union, WV passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence. Born August 10, 1924 at Sarton, WV she was the daughter of the late Guy and Oma Long Erskine. Eva was a homemaker and loved gardening and working in her flower beds. She had worked as a cook in the school system in New Jersey and later she worked as a cook at Ashely's IGA in Union. She was a member of the Indian Creek Community Club, Monroe County Gardening Club, Quilting Club, and was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Weikle; a daughter Louise Decker; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Charles E. "Edwin" Bradley of Union, WV; two sons, Roger Lee Weikle and wife Doris of Atco, New Jersey and Ralph E. Weikle and wife Debbie of Pine Hill, New Jersey; one sister, Jane Knight of Detroit, Michigan; Eight Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Patty Adkins and Rev. Herman Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Alexander Church Cemetery at Sarton, WV. Friends may call Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
