GREENVILLE, WV --- Ernest Richardson Poff, age 87 of Greenville passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center in Summers County, WV. Born February 20, 1931 at Wikle, WV he was the son of the late Ira Weikle and Nannie Poff. Mr. Poff was retired machinist from Appalachian Electronic Instruments in Ronceverte, WV. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and attended the Mount Hedding United Methodist Church at Lillydale, WV.
Survivors include his wife of more than 51 years, Sylvia Huffman Poff of Greenville, WV; one son, Richard Poff and fiancé Andrea Elek of Morgantown, WV; one daughter, Pamela Poff Capaldo of Gap Mills, WV; two granddaughters, Amanda Capaldo of Ronceverte, WV and Ashley Capaldo of Fort Springs, WV; and one great-granddaughter, Lakyn Green of Ronceverte, WV.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating.
