GAP MILLS, WV---Eloise Marie Ballard, 76 of Gap Mills, passed away at her home Sunday morning, February 1, 2015 following a long illness.
She was born November 25, 1938 at Organ Cave, WV, a daughter of the late Edith Boone Jones.
Mrs. Ballard attended the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith and was a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich at Union.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Halmer Dewey Ballard; 2 sons, Larry Dean Ballard and Gary David Ballard; 2 brothers.
Surviving are 2 sons, Steven Ballard and wife, Cathy of Waiteville and Philip Ballard and wife, Kathy of Union; 2 grandchildren, Shawn Ballard and wife, Michelle, Jessica Galford and husband, Jason; 5 great grandchildren, Zach Smith, Lauren Ballard, Emma Ballard, Jackson Ballard and Madison Galford.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow in Ellison Cemetery at Rock Camp, WV.
Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church 1 hour prior to the services.
