PRINCETON,WV --- Edsell Beane, age 80, of Princeton, WV, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2019 at the Springfield Center at Lindside, WV. Born March 22, 1939 at Waiteville, WV, he was the son of the late John Monroe Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Faudree Beane. Edsell, served his Country in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed working on vehicles and timbering. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Edsell also loved and cared for his family dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son, James Beane and wife Heather of Princeton, WV; one daughter, Alene Davis and husband Timmy of Princeton, WV; two brothers, Walter Beane and Jack Beane Ashley and wife Vivian; three grandchildren, Amber Fisher, Timothy Vance Davis, Jr., and Jidaya Beane; and a special niece, Velleda Dunbar and husband Ronald.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel, Union, WV, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery, Waiteville, WV. Family will serve as Pallbearers. Friends may call Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
