UNION, WV--- Edna Mae Thomas Mohler, age 79, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Springfield Nursing Home, Lindside, WV following a long illness. Born March 31, 1935 at Black Diamond, TN, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gladys Boffel Thomas. Mrs. Mohler was a homemaker and a member of the Appalachian American Indians of West Virginia.
Survivors include her husband William E. "Bill" Mohler of Union, WV; two daughters, Deborah Mohler of Union, WV and Patricia Goins and husband Bud of Oliver Springs, TN; one son, Donald Edward Mohler of Ronceverte, WV; two sisters, Janice Allen of Lafollette, TN and Eleanor Webb of Jellico, TN; two brothers, James Thomas of Lafollette, TN and Howard Thomas, Jr. of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
