GAP MILLS, WV --- Eddie Ervin Williams, age 73 of Gap Mills, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness. Born July 1, 1947 in Gap Mills, WV, he was the son of the late Dallas and Irene Patton Williams. Eddie was a graduate of Gap Mills High School. He was a retiree of the State of WV. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and farm. Eddie loved his family very much, especially his granddaughters. Eddie also loved the Lord, and he attended the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith, WV.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dona Wickline Williams; one sister, Teresa Weikle; father-in-law Dwight Wickline. Survivors include, one son, Steven Williams of Gap Mills, WV; one daughter, Rebecca Davis of Bridgeport, WV; one sister, Nancy Baker of Cookeville, TN; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wickline and brother-in-law Michael Wickline of Gap Mills, WV; and two granddaughters, Abbie Williams (Hayden Rice) of Covington, VA, and Hailie Williams (Eli) of Morgantown, WV. He also has several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Wickline Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Those planning on attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:30 p.m. Due to the regulations associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic, those attending the service are asked to social distance and wear a mask.
