GAP MILLS, WV --- Dorothy Francis Wickline, age 90, of Gap Mills, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 29, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV. Born January 13, 1931 at Sweet Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Howard and Ethel Virginia Robinson Halterman. Dorothy had worked for several years at the Andrew S. Rowan Home in Sweet Springs, WV and was also a loving and caring homemaker. She loved her family and she enjoyed cooking, raising her vegetables, and growing her beautiful flowers. Dorothy also loved the Lord and faithfully attended Crimson Springs Church while her health allowed her to do so.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Dwight Wickline; her daughter, Dona Williams; son-in-law, Eddie Williams; Dorothy was the last surviving sibling of eight children. Seven brothers also preceded her in death, Joseph, Douglas, Fred, Ben, Lawton, Benjy, and Rick Halterman.

Survivors include one son, Mike Wickline and wife Sharon of Gap Mills, WV; four grandchildren, Steve Williams, Rebecca Davis, Philip Wickline and wife Lori, and Jerad Wickline and wife Narayah; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Sweet, and Georgia Ellis and husband Gabe; eight great-grandchildren, Abbie Williams and boyfriend Hayden Rice, Hailie Williams and husband Eli, Shailyn, McKenna, and Grant Wickline, and Jaxon, Elijah, and Adalyn Wickline; three step-great-grandchildren, Lily Latham, Ariel and Anthony Ellis; one great-great granddaughter, Hadlie Rice; and special nieces and a nephew also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith, WV with Pastors Jim Rogers and Travis Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickline Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV. Philip Wickline, Jerad Wickline, Grant Wickline, Steven Williams, Hayden Rice, and Ray Thomas will serve as Pallbearers.
