ROANOKE, VA --- In the hands of God, the soul is safe in Heaven. Dorothy Marie Morrow Santay, age 86, of Roanoke, VA passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Berkshire Nursing Home, Vinton, VA following a long illness. Born December 1, 1929 in Claire, NY she was the daughter of Leon and Florence Brouse Morrow. Mrs. Santay was a loving caregiver and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church at Roanoke, VA.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Richard Alan Santay.
Survivors include, one daughter, Mary Ann Bostic and husband Dean of Roanoke, VA; one grandson, Aaron Bostic of Roanoke, VA; one sister, Helen Graham of Dewitt, NY; one niece, Bonnie Graham of Dewitt, NY; and one nephew, Robert Morrow of Heuvelton, NY.
Graveside Rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Mt. View Cemetery at Sweet Springs, WV. Those planning on attending the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
