SINKS GROVE, WV --- Donna Frances Hedrick, age 61, of Sinks Grove, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, WV, following a sudden illness. Born February 9, 1958 at Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of Agnes Spangler Caldwell of Union, WV and the late Roscoe Caldwell. Donna was a loving, dedicated, and devoted wife and mother. She was also the best Nana in the world to her grandkids, of whom she loved so much. She had worked as a nurse's aide and was a licensed cosmologist. Donna was the former owner of J.A.S. Beauty Salon and had retired from the Greenbrier Spa and Salon. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary and a member of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church at Sinks Grove.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Sue Caldwell. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Rusty Hedrick of Sinks Grove, WV; three daughters, Julie Ann Garst of Wilmington, NC, Audrey Suzanne Sampson and husband Greg of Alderson, WV, and Shannon Frances Vance and husband Chris of Ronceverte, WV; one brother, William Allen Caldwell of Union, WV; one sister, Nancy Cary of Organ Cave, WV; and five grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Sadie, Lane, and Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Stewart Farley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Sinks Grove, WV. Friends may call Monday, February 18, 2019 from 12:00 noon until time of services.
