PICKAWAY, WV --- David Fredrick Holesapple, age 78, of Pickaway, WV, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Ronceverte, WV. Born March 3, 1941 at Second Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Fred H. and Della Ellen Sturdivant Holesapple. Following his high school graduation, David went into the Military. He proudly served his Country for over 23 years in the U.S. Navy. During his retirement, David enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Richard Holesapple. Survivors include his wife of over 52 years, Mary Eva Short Holesapple of Pickaway, WV; two brothers, Johnny Calvin Holesapple of North Beach, MD, and James William "Jim Dandy" Holesapple of Saint Leonard, MD; two sisters, Sharon Sue Copsey and husband John of Charles Town, WV, and Alice Ann London of Lusby, MD; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV.
