GREENVILLE, WV --- David Carl Francisco, age 81, of Greenville, WV, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, in Fairlea, WV. Born July 2, 1942 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of the late Edward and Orpha Williams Francisco.

Dave was a lover of the outdoors, being an avid hunter, loved to fish, and woodworking. He also loved to hunt wild mushrooms and ginseng. He loved horseback riding, coon hunting in which he won numerous trophies. He was always canning along with raising his own vegetables. If he didn't have them to can neighbors seem to always provide them. He also enjoyed weekly rides through the woods. And most of all he simply loved the lord Jesus and his family. He also loved his two yorkies. Ace and princess and cat Peppy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Gunter Francisco; an infant son, David Francisco, Jr.; a granddaughter Mira Orozco.  two brothers, Paul and Keith Francisco. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Virginia "Jenny" Francisco of Greenville, WV; two sons, Brian Francisco and wife Sherri of Summersville, WV, and Brain Pence and companion Amy of Greenville, WV; one daughter, Julie Mullins and husband Bryan of Ripley, WV; grandchildren, Meggin Chambers and husband Chris of Kearney, Nebraska, Jimmy Hollingsworth and wife Samantha of Cambridge, OH, Jenna Hollingsworth and companion Joseph Rotenberry of Scott Depot, WV; two great-grandsons, Jeffery and Everett Hollingsworth of Cambridge, OH; two very special brother in laws who was always there to lend a helping hand: Lewis Burns of White Sulphur Springs, WV AND Larry Burns also of White Sulphur Springs, WV. and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV Pastor Joey Morgan and Bill Wood officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
