UNION, WV --- David Gordon Dickson, age 86, of Union passed away Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 at the home of his niece and nephew, Leslie and Steven Dickson following a short illness.
He was born at Havertown, Pa. September 1, 1930 a son of the late Herbert Edwin and Mildred Gordon Dickson, Sr.
Mr. Dickson had many interests and occupations including chef, parks and recreation director, antiques dealer and certified antiques appraiser. He was also affiliated with the Episcopal Faith and had attended Penn State University, a U. S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Pollock Dickson; a brother, Herbert Edwin Dickson, Jr.; 2 sisters, Dorothy Dickson Hutchinson and Jean Dickson; a stepson David Pollock.
Survivors include his niece and nephew, Leslie and Steven Dickson of Union; 2 Stepsons, Ronald and Thomas Pollock. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
At Mr. Dickson's request his body will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
