UNION, WV --- Darlyn "Penny" Radford, age 60, of Union, WV, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV following an extended illness. Born August 6, 1960 at Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Shirley Melber Bulman. Penny had worked as a sheet metal worker and was a member of the Union, Local #100 in Roanoke, VA. She also worked as a cook supervisor for Peterstown Middle School. She loved to volunteer and help out people any way she could. She arranged for several benefits throughout the years to assist people in need. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and attending the West Virginia State Fair. Penny also loved the Lord and was of the Protestant Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey and Beulah Melber; one uncle, Buddy Melber; and her Aunt Joan.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dewey Radford of Union, WV; one son, Dewey Radford, Jr., of Norfolk, VA; one brother, Roy Eugene Bulman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one sister, Tammy Hanner of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Ellie Radford of Norfolk, VA, Bret Martin, and Brooke Martin both of Virginia; one niece, Therse Williams; two aunts, Sue Greco of Keyser, WV and Carol Mooney of Lehighton, PA; special sisters, Carol Dolin, Jenny Dotson, and Laura Jewell all of Union, WV; and several cousins and many friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Terry Utterback officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Union, WV. The Family will receive friends Friday, December 4, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Kelvin Clarkson, Sterlin Weikle, Michael Wickline, Ronnie Porterfield, Jim Blankenship, and Ralph Weikle will serve as Pallbearers.
