GARY, WV --- Danny Cantrell, 59, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on November 19, 2022, at Hospice House, Beckley, WV.

He was born May 12, 1963 in Welch, WV, Son of Dolph Cantrell and Eva Phillips-Cantrell.

Danny was a skillful and hardworking man. He ran a roofing company in Richmond, VA.   Danny greeted no person as a stranger, rather a new friend. Danny had a loving heart and always wanted to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his parents Danny was preceded in death by a sister Charlotte Cantrell. He is survived by Son- Richard "Tony" Cantrell (Norfolk, VA), and Sisters-Diana Cottle (Bluefield, WV), Tami Morgan and Husband Michael (Gastonia, NC), Denise Garnes and husband Danny (Gates, NC), Laura Ramkissoon and husband Oscar (Gastonia, NC), Toby McMahan husband Steven (Greenville, WV) numerous nieces and nephews, and a very special nephew Wyatt Pauley.
