UNION, WV --- Daniel Lee Wright, age 36, of Union, WV, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Union, WV. Born January 1, 1985 in Woodbridge, VA, he was the son of Linda Figgatt Cerami of Baker, WV and the late Paul Daniel Wright. Daniel was a graduate of the Mountaineer Challenge Academy in Kingwood, WV and continued his education in mechanical engineering at the Jacksonville Technical College in Jacksonville, FL. He loved the outdoors. He worked as a river guide for various parks and organizations. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Daniel loved to write music and sing. He was also talented at auctioneering. He loved his family and friends dearly, and he also loved his little dog, Ellie Mae.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Irene Wright; maternal grandfather, Ronald Figgatt; and one aunt, Sherry Figgatt. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Arthur Cerami of Baker, WV; two brothers, Andrew Hudson, of Knoxville, TN, and Benjamin Cerami of Baker, WV; one sister, Leah Ruffner of Baker, WV; niece, Kieira Hudson; nephew, Elias Keener; maternal grandmother, Joanie Wilkinson of Fredericksburg, VA; aunt Ronda Jones and family of Fredericksburg, VA; Uncle Dave Barnhart of Missouri; Cheryl Figgatt and Family of Fredericksburg, VA; Ronnie Figgatt and Family of Fredericksburg, VA; the late Sherry Figgatt's Family; Teresa Kennedy of Union, WV; Linda Hoke of Union, WV; and his precious dog, Ellie Mae.

In keeping with Daniel's wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held to honor his life at a later date.
