HOLLYWOOD, WV – Daniel Lee Hoke, 68, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

Born on November 30, 1956, in Hollywood, WV, Daniel was a dedicated and hardworking individual. As the co-owner of Hoke Brothers Contracting for over 30years, he built a reputation for strength and craftsmanship earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. His commitment to his work reflected his perseverance and determination throughout his life.

Outside of his career, Daniel found joy in spending time with his children and his precious granddaughter. He enjoyed playing poker and spending time outdoors. He spent many evenings riding the four-wheeler along the creek of his property feeding the animals. He loved his homeplace and traveling throughout all of WV and would often tell stories of all the counties he'd built bridges in.

Daniel is survived by his devoted wife Brenda and son Brenden of Hollywood; his daughter Dr. Andrea Hoke (Caleb Thomas) and granddaughter Avonlea residing in Pearisburg, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Junior and Pauline Hoke and his son Justin Lee Hoke.

Daniel's memory will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy he built. Left to share in his memory are many family members and close friends, in particular Eric Wickline who has greatly helped him with projects over the years.

A viewing will be held on February 11, 2025, 12:00PM-2:00PM at Groves-Mann Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 2:00PM with Pastor David Deskins officiating. The burial will follow taking place at Wickline Cemetery in Zenith, WV.
