Dana C. Martin "D.C.", age 92, beloved husband of the late Garnet (nee Humphreys). Dear father of Dee Eisner (Gary) and Sue Deskins (Chuck). Adoring grandfather of Taylor, Mitchell and Matt Deskins and Nicole and Donald Remesnik. Loving great grandfather of Mazzi Drinkwater and Dalton and Ashton Remesnik. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Roberta Lindsey (nee Martin) and Everett G. Martin (Still at sea, USS Indianapolis). D.C. was a World War II Navy Veteran and after returning home from the war became a watch maker, he worked for B&O-C&O Railroad, was a 32nd Degree Mason, and in retirement enjoyed golfing with Garnet in Sumter, South Carolina. We would like to thank the staff of Brighton Gardens for loving Our Dad and allowing him to "pester, pester" all of you. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Monday, June 8 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake and also from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV. Graveside services will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Union, West Virginia.
