UNION, WV --- Crystal Gail Fury, age 44, of Union, WV, passed away March 16, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Ronceverte, WV. Born April 19, 1974 at Covington, VA, she was the daughter of Margaret Jones Fury of Union, WV and the late Johnny Fury. Crystal was employed with Collins Aerospace at Union, WV for the past twelve years. Prior to that, she had worked eleven years at Mulligan Flooring in Ronceverte, WV. Crystal was a 1992 graduate of Union High School and following high school, she attended Bluefield State College. While in school, she was very active in several sports. She loved playing softball and basketball. She was also an avid WVU and Denver Broncos football fan, and Duke Basketball fan. Crystal was a member of the Forrest Run Church at Glace, WV. She was always willing to help in any way she could, whether she was helping with fund raising for area sports teams or selling raffle tickets to help raise money for someone with cancer. She loved everyone and will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Abe and Ruth Ellen Jones; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Cora Fury; uncle and aunts, Myles and violet Fury, Billy and Cleda Fury, and Susie and Mark Jones. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by one brother Travis Fury and wife Shawnee of  Pickaway, WV; one nephew, Tyler Fury of Pickaway, WV; one niece, Megan Fury of Pickaway, WV; Aunts, Wilma Feury and husband Charles of White Sulphur Springs, WV; Pasty Cox of Union, WV; Uncle, Jackie Jones and wife Sue of Gap Mills, WV; Cousins, Stanley Jones and wife April of Organ Cave, WV, Steve Jones and wife Michelle of Organ Cave, WV, Susan Griffith of Ronceverte, WV, Roger Griffith of Fairlea, WV, Sharon Jones of Ronceverte, WV, and Billy Jones of Union, WV; several great-cousins, and her work families at UTC and Mulligan Flooring.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastors Otis Lewis and Charles Feury officiating. Due to limited parking at the cemetery, the family will be having a private graveside service following the funeral service. Friends may call Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. The family requests memorial donations honoring Crystal be made to the Union Little League.
