GREENVILLE, WV --- Connie Lynn Pence, 60 of Greenville, WV passed away at home on February 3, 2019 following a long illness. She loved children, flowers and was a giving person.
She was born in Ohio, October 19, 1958 a daughter of the late Jessie James and Hattie Taylor Dowdy of Union, Wv. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Diana Dowdy, Sue Ratliff and a brother Randy Dowdy.
Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Bill Pence of Greenville; a son Jody Pence of Beckley; 2 brothers James Dowdy and Velda McClung of Lewisburg, Steve Dowdy and significant other Kathy Meadows of Lindside; 5 sisters, Kathy Mullins and her husband Ben of Roanoke, Va., Dreama Workman and her husband Wayne of Ravenna, Ky., Pam Arwood and her husband Danny of Gap Mills, Debbie Jackson of Gap Mills and Melanie Bradley and her husband Kevin of Ronceverte, Sister-in- law Ella Mastalski.
