Clyde Albert Wickline, 84, of Sweet Springs, West Virginia, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Born March 23, 1942, Clyde was the son of the late Ellery and Margaret Wickline.

Clyde shared 61 years of marriage with his wife, Carol Ann Bland Wickline, who survives him. He is also survived by his children, Brad Wickline and Melissa Wickline and her husband, Larry Clevenger; grandchildren, Kristin Chittum and husband Matthew, Bradley Wickline, Timothy Hamilton and fiancée Kendall, and Jackson Williams; step-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Nicholas Clevenger; and three great-grandchildren.

Clyde worked as a pipe insulator and was a proud member of Local 80. He spent 23 years working at The Greenbrier, where he enjoyed his work and made many friends and acquaintances over the years.

A lifelong farmer, Clyde remained deeply connected to the land and the farming life he loved in Sweet Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellery and Margaret Wickline, and his brother, Ellery Wickline Jr. Clyde is also survived by his brother Robert Wickline, Ohio and Patsy McMillian, North Carolina.
