GOOCHLAND, VA --- Charlene V. Bostic, 66, of Goochland, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Bostic. Survivors include her daughter Tish Bostic Pryor (Stephen); son, Jacob Bostic (Stephanie) and grandchildren, Makinley Bostic, Haley Bostic, and Trenton Bostic. Charlene retired from Dominion Energy after a career as a draftswoman. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Community Church in Sinks Grove, West Virginia. Charlene enjoyed spending time outdoors and working on do it yourself projects. Some of her fondest memories were from spending time in West Virginia with her family. Visitation was held on Friday November 17 from 5:30-7:30 at Woody Funeral home 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, Va. She will be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetery in Union WV on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that potted plants, seeds, or bulbs be sent to 1750 Fairground Rd Maidens, VA 23102. Flowers will be planted in the gardens around their home.
