LEWISBURG, WV – Cephas Anthony Blankenship, age 51, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV. Born May 20, 1974, in Union, WV, he was the son of the late Cephas D. Blankenship and Brenda Carper Boyce.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Coleman; grandparents, Kyle and Virginia Carper; uncle, Andy Carper; aunt, Kay Bostic; nephew, Brent Carper; and niece Cassie Spencer.

Survivors include his children, Ethan and Savannah Blankenship of Florida; sisters, Stephanie Bland and husband Jeff of Ronceverte, WV, and Valerie Quick and husband Mike of Frankford, WV; sister-in-law, Lisa Coleman of Lewisburg, WV; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Carmel Cemetery in Gap Mills, WV, then continued to the family farm to spread his ashes.
