UNION - Cecil Dennis Canterbury, age 56, of Union passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Peyton House in Fairlea following a long illness.

Born December 2, 1957 at Clifton Forge, Va. a son of the late Dennis Brown and Margaret Thompson Canterbury.

He was a disabled heavy equipment operator.

Surviving is his wife, Lisa Deskins Canterbury of Union; 2 daughters, Holly Dunbar Sims and husband David of Union, Kara Beth Canterbury and fiancé, Randall Osborne of Union; 2 sisters, Linda C. Walker of Charlottesville, Va. and Brenda G. Bradshaw of Union; 3 grandchildren, Nathaniel Wayne Sims, Leland David Sims and Able Marshall Sims. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Larry Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Keenan.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, November 30, 2014 from Noon until service time.
