ALDERSON, WV --- Catherine Ellen Parker, age 60, of Alderson, WV passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at her home following a long illness. Born October 15, 1955 at Mansfield, OH she was the daughter of Josephine Alma Kountz of Marion Station, Maryland and the late Percy Raymond Parker.
Ms. Parker worked as a Program Manager for Res-Care. In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Coe Parker. In addition to her Mother, survivors include one son, David Lively and wife Melissa of Narrows, VA; six sisters, Shirley Parker and husband Jack Keaton of Clayton, WV, Alma Grubb and husband George of Union, WV, Deborah Parker of Alderson, WV, Jane Sykes and husband David of Alderson, WV, Sandra Brown of Alderson, WV, and Frances Keohane and husband Sean of Marion Station, Maryland.
