PICKAWAY, WV --- Carol M. Beckett, 74, of Pickaway passed Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia following a long illness.
She was born at Organ Cave, West Virginia, December 24, 1942 a daughter of the late Frank and Kate Sibold McClung.
Carol was a retired Registered Nurse with over 40 years service and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church at Pickaway.
Surviving is her husband, Dale Beckett of Pickaway; a daughter, Lisa Bazzarre of Roanoke, Va.; a granddaughter, Lauren Lassere of Roanoke, Va.; 2 step children, Jacque Jones and husband, Kyle of Lewisburg, Jeff Beckett and wife, Melinda of Pickaway; a step-grandson, Josh Beckett and wife, Brie of Ronceverte; a step-granddaughter, Sarah Jones of Lewisburg; a step-great grandson, Brayden Beckett of Ronceverte; 2 brothers, Lee McClung and wife, Debbie of Pickaway, David McClung and wife, Cathy of Point Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, with Rev. Frank Naglic officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm. until service time.
