Gap Mills - Carl Franklin Bragg, Jr., 75 of Gap Mills, passed away Monday morning, July 6, 2015 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea following a short illness.
He was born at Hinton, West Virginia, January 10, 1940 a son of the late Carl Franklin, Sr. and Bessie Bennett Bragg .
Mr. Bragg was a truck driver for Houff Transfers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Virginia Turner; 2 sons, William Luther Bragg and Timothy Wayne Bragg.
Surviving are 3 sons, Robert Dale Bragg and Terri of Marion, Va., Paul Franklin Bragg and Marsha of Wayside, Michael Allen Bragg and Arianna of Gap Mills; 2 daughters, Melissa Bragg Brewer of Zenith, Janice Bragg Baker of Charlotte, NC.
Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with Rev. David Deskins officiating.
Burial will follow at the New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway.
Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 11:00 am. Wednesday until service time.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Peyton Hospice House at 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901.
Military Honors will be provided by the US Air Force.
