UNION, WV --- Brent Cameron Parker, age 59, of Union, WV passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Union, WV following a sudden illness. Born July 6, 1959 at Union, WV, he was the son of Daisy Parker of Union, WV and the late Clayborn "Squeek" Parker. Brent was a 1977 graduate of Union High School. Brent followed in his father's footsteps and went on to become a Master Electrician. He loved doing carpentry work and had worked for Bennett Plumbing. He was a former Journey Man at I.B.E.W. Local Union #466. He was a member of the Trapped Association and a member of the Muzzleloader Association. He was a member of the NRA, and he loved to trap, hunt, camp, fish, and anything "outdoors".

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Parker who passed away February 20, 2008; and one brother, Roger Dale; grandparents, Eliza and Homer Wykle and Cora and Burn Paker. In addition to his mother, survivors include, two daughters, Rebecca Parker of Tanner, WV and Jenna Aaron Gabbert of Charleston, WV; one grandchild, Dalaney Grace Gabbert of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Bonita C. Parker of Union, WV and Brenja C. Parker Doane and husband James of Union, WV; nieces, Brittany Knight and husband Roger of Union, WV, Mallory Riddle of Tanner, WV, Amy Chapman, Ashley Fox, and Miranda Yeager; nephew, Bryan Parker and wife Deanna of Lindside, WV; great-niece, Kaylee Parker; sisters-in-law, Patsy Anderson of Tanner, WV and Robin Riddle of Tanner, WV; brother-in-law, Randy Riddle and wife Joyce of Tanner, WV; a very great aunt, Lucille Wykle.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Roseville Cemetery in Tanner, WV (Gilmer County) with Pastor Randy Wilson officiating. Friends may call Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV. There will also be a gathering time from 12:00 noon until time of services on Monday at the Cemetery.
