WAITEVILLE, WV --- Bobby Emory Shires, age 75, of Waiteville, WV, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his residence. Born February 6, 1945 at Zenith, WV he was the son of the late Clem M. and Helen V. Trent Shires. Bobby was a hard worker all his life. He had worked in the Timber business for several years. He was also known for his mechanic skills, and he always enjoyed working on engines and doing repair work on them. He also enjoyed hunting and was an avid gardener.

Survivors include one brother, Donald Shires of Maiden, NC; and two sisters, Barbara Jean Thompson of Asbury, WV, and Linda Gay Loudermilk of Fairlea, WV.

In keeping with Bobby's wishes he will be cremated, and the family will have a memorial service at a later date to honor Bobby's life.
