LEIVASY, WV --- Betty Jean Trout, 81, of Leivsay passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Heartland of Summersville, following a long illness.
She was born at Carl, WV June 19, 1936 a daughter of the late Carl M. and Phala Pitensbarger McCombs.
Betty was a retired employee of Bright of America at Summersville, a member of the Mt. Prospect Baptist Church at Leivsay and a member of the Women's Circle of the church
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Trout and a daughter, Diane Chapman.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Edgel Franklin Trout of Leivsay; a son, Gary Trout and wife, Connie of Leivsay; a son-in-law, Keith Chapman of Nettie; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Trout of St. Albans; a sister, Garylee O'Dell and her husband, Gordon of Leivsay; 3 grandchildren, Barry Trout and companion, Teresa; Mandy Snyder and husband, Sam; Greg Chapman and wife, Katie; 4 great grandchildren, Griffin, Braden, Caylie and Hayden.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm. Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Mt. Prospect Baptist Church at Leivsay with Rev. Tim McClung officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Nettie, WV.
