Betty Jo Roles Hedrick, age 90, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Edgewood, KY. Born June 4, 1934, in Lillydale, WV, she was the daughter of the late Opie Elbert and Gertrude Irene Pence Roles.

Betty graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.  She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church in Williamstown, KY, and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Valerie Elaine Hedrick.

On June 4, 1953, Betty was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kyle Reed Hedrick.  In addition to her husband of 71 years, Betty is survived by two sons, Kyle Reed Hedrick, Jr. (Mary) of Carney, MD and William Wayne Hedrick (Sandra) of Kingston, TN; three daughters, Mary Jo Wodarczyk (Stan) of Chase, MD, Patti Lynn Dreisch (Joe) of Rostraver Twp, PA and Tina Lee Hedrick (Billy) of Dry Ridge, KY; a brother, Robert Lee Roles of Greenville, WV; three sisters, Jean R. Perdue of Hendersonville, NC, Janice R. Downer of Covington, VA and Genetta P. Garcia of Alpine, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Mt. Hedding Church in Greenville, WV. Burial will follow at the Greenville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greenville, WV. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of services on Saturday at the church.
