HOLLYWOOD - Ann Parker Canterbury, 80, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her home in Hollywood, following a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Canterbury was born at Red Sulphur, WV May 25, 1934 a daughter of the late Lacy and Lizzie Mann Parker.

She was a retired school bus driver for the Monroe County Board of Education and a member of the Union Memorial Baptist Church at Union.

She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved them all dearly and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Canterbury was preceded her husband, Paul Kenneth Canterbury and 2 sisters, Hazel Mann and Marylin Canterbury.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Paula Ann Bridges and husband, Victor of Greenville, Libby Canterbury of Hollywood; a son Gregory Kenneth Canterbury and his wife, Dr. Jayne Ladier Canterbury of Creamery; grandchildren, Gregory Travis Canterbury and wife, Jade; Matthew Craig Canterbury and wife, Whitney; Elizabeth Ann Bridges and boyfriend,

J. T. Brinson, Kenneth Victor Bridges, Brittani Ladier Wilson and husband, Misael; Trevor Ray Thurman, and Joshua Aaron Canterbury. Great Grandchildren, Catelin Ladier Wilson, Nolan Gregory Canterbury and Johnathan Blaze Canterbury; a brother, Neel Parker and wife, Margaret of Union, a sister, Jacqueline Mann of Greenville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Ron Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery at Union, WV.

Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union, WV from 6 – 8 pm. Monday.
