GAP MILLS, WV – Almedia Virginia McPeak, 82 of Gap Mills, WV passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.  Born November 13, 1936 in Delanco, NJ she was the daughter of the late George and Viola LeConey Ely.  Mrs. McPeak was a Bus Driver for New Jersey Public Schools and was a past member of the Lumberton Ladies Fire Auxillary.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant great-granddaughter and eleven brothers and sisters.  Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-six years, Edward Gene McPeak, three sons, Cody McPeak of New Jersey, Ralph (Carola) McPeak and David (Jenny) McPeak all of Gap Mills, WV, daughter, Betty (John) McPeak-Opfer of New Jersey, grandchildren, David, Danny, Crystal, Cody, Eddie and Ariel McPeak, Jessica Wilson, Eric and Brandon Opfer and Morgan Wiley, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Carmel Cemetery, Gap Mills, WV.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
