NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – Alan Wayne Keeling, age 62, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Aurora Nursing Home in New Port Richey, FL. Born February 11, 1961, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Harold "Boots" Keeling and Ramona Sue Mansi.

Alan was a skilled construction worker. He was a joyous person who had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. He was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dannie Lee Keeling; one sister, Sarah Burgess; and brother-in-law, Victor Burgess. Survivors include his step-mother, Rosa Lee Keeling of Sinks Grove, WV; two brothers, Larry and Roger Keeling of Holiday, FL; two step-brothers, David Boyce of Lightfoot, VA, and Christopher Boyce of Kirland, WA; one sister, Linda Keeling of Union, WV; two step-sisters, Kendra Meadows of Sinks Grove, WV, and Renee Mengert of Tybee Island, GA; niece, Alicia Hershelman of Conneautville, PA; nephew, Daniel Cox of Pickaway; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Beulah Land Cemetery on the family farm in Sinks Grove, WV, with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Cemetery.
